How We Test
Last updated: July 10, 2026
TechPlayForge is owned and edited by Aryan Kapoor, a gamer and game creator. This page explains how gaming settings and related guidance are evaluated, and where the site’s current testing has limitations.
Current BGMI test setup
For the BGMI 4.4 sensitivity work updated on July 5, 2026, settings were checked on a Samsung Galaxy S24 and available Infinix and OnePlus devices. The exact Infinix and OnePlus model names were not recorded for that test, so TechPlayForge does not claim model-specific verification for those two devices.
The settings and code references were gathered from in-game options and online sources, then used as starting points on the available devices. They are not official KRAFTON guarantees and are not universal codes for every phone or player.
How gaming settings are evaluated
- Record the environment: note the game or software version, test date, available device, display or frame-rate option, and whether gyroscope is enabled.
- Separate the source: distinguish values observed in the game from values found in official documentation, manufacturer information, or online community references.
- Use a safe test area: try control and sensitivity changes in Training Ground or another non-competitive mode before recommending them as starting points.
- Check camera response: look for controllable movement, overshooting, slow turning, and consistency across common scope levels.
- Check ADS and recoil feel: compare short and sustained sprays while keeping weapon, attachment, stance, and distance as consistent as practical.
- Check gyroscope separately: gyro values are treated separately because sensor quality, calibration, grip, and frame rate can materially change the result.
- Document limitations: state when exact device models, repeated measurements, accessories, network conditions, or laboratory tools were not available.
What “tested” means on TechPlayForge
“Tested” means the author used the described setting, product, or workflow on the device and version identified in the article. It does not mean laboratory certification, official game approval, or guaranteed performance for every reader. When the exact device and method are not documented, the content should be described as a community preset, reference value, or starting point instead of verified.
Community and online sources
Online settings can help identify useful starting ranges, but they may be outdated, copied without context, or tuned for another device. TechPlayForge should compare these references with current in-game options and label them as community or externally sourced information. A source appearing frequently online does not by itself prove that it is accurate.
Product and specification research
For products that have not been physically tested, articles rely on available manufacturer specifications, retailer information, official documentation, and clearly identified public sources. Such content should not claim personal ownership, long-term use, benchmark results, or laboratory testing.
Updates and corrections
Game updates can change sensitivity behavior, controls, graphics settings, and supported devices. Important guides should show the relevant version and update date. If a reader identifies an error or an outdated value, it can be reported to ap8111998@gmail.com with the article URL and supporting details.
Reader responsibility
Gaming settings are personal and device-dependent. Back up existing values where possible, change a small number of settings at a time, and test in a safe mode before ranked or competitive play. TechPlayForge does not ask for game passwords, OTPs, payment details, or account access.
